Online Adult Counselling
$180-$250
A 50- or 90-minute individual adult counselling session offers a secure, supportive, and confidential space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and life challenges from the comfort and privacy of your home. Sessions are collaborative and tailored to your unique goals, fostering insight, resilience, and meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) sessions are recommended at 90 minutes to allow sufficient time for preparation, reprocessing, and grounding within a single session, ensuring the work is both thorough and supportive.
Online Teen Counselling 16+
$180
A 50-minute online teen counselling session provides a safe, supportive, and confidential space for clients aged 16 and older to explore their thoughts, feelings, and challenges in a way that feels respectful, collaborative, and understood.
Consent from all decision-making guardians is required prior to the start of counselling.
In some circumstances, Mature Minor Consent may be considered in accordance with applicable legislation and professional standards.
Caregiver Consultation
$90-$180
A 30- or 50-minute online consultation designed to support parents and legal guardians seeking guidance, practical strategies, or an opportunity to share important background information related to their teen’s needs. These meetings can take place prior to counselling beginning or at any point throughout treatment.
This service is also available to parents or caregivers who may not currently have a child or teen in counselling, but are interested in learning supportive approaches and gaining insight into their teens’ development and wellbeing.
Insurance Coverage
Many insurance plans cover counselling services provided by Canadian Certified Counsellors (CCC); however, coverage varies by individual plan. At this time, Pear on the Prairie Counselling does not offer direct billing. Sessions are charged to the client’s credit card on file through Jane Payments, and an invoice is provided following each session for submission to insurance providers for reimbursement. Clients are responsible for confirming their own coverage for services provided by a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC).
Sliding scale fees may be available upon request.
